Deskside Support Services

Complementary to Break Fix Services are our Deskside Support Services. These services involve dispatching a trained and qualified technician to an end user’s location to resolve problems that are software or networking related. Deskside Support Services require technicians who have training and certifications beyond that of traditional Break Fix Services, and are well-versed in data migration, data security, networking and many common software applications. They frequently resolve issues concerning data back ups, data restoration, software installations, updates and patch fixes, as well as spyware detection and removal. As with Break Fix Services, Deskside Support clients also have varying service level needs, so our service organization is modeled accordingly:

 

  • Deskside Support – Enterprise Technicians: Primarily supporting our clients in corporate and campus-based environments, these technicians work very closely with our clients’ Help Desk and IT personnel, often resolving complex issues that cannot be repaired via a remote help desk.
  • Deskside Support – Client Technicians: Primarily supporting our in-home and small office/home office (SOHO) customers, these technicians work directly with the end-user to resolve problems that are more consumer-oriented, such as fixing issues associated with off-the-shelf software applications and spyware detection and removal.
