Acquisition Broadens QualxServ's Global Reach and Solidifies Leadership in the Technology Services Market
TEWKSBURY, Mass. - December 11, 2008: QualxServ, LLC, a leading provider of technology deployment and field delivered support services, today announced that it has reached an agreement to acquire the Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) division of BancTec. The acquisition builds on QualxServ's mission to provide first-class technology services worldwide.BancTec, Inc. is a global provider of advanced, high-volume document and payment processing services and solutions. Acquiring BancTec's ITSM division is reflective of QualxServ's long-term strategy to expand its global reach and increase its scale and operating efficiency. The ITSM division provides comprehensive deployment and maintenance services on computers, servers, printers, peripherals and networks for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and information technology outsourcing (ITO) service providers in North America and Europe.
